Holding a Film degree (Bachelor of Fine Arts) from Simon Fraser University, Su Yon Sohn has been actively involved in both local and international film industries in the aspects of production, academia, festival circuits, and international sales. Su Yon's interests include filmmaking, arts, bridging cultures, people, social awareness and responsibilities, technology, sexual orientations and preferences, traveling, and languages. She is thrilled to take one step further to become an influential creator by being part of the Masters of Digital Media.
