Youhan is a creative programmer and an UI/UX designer working in variant human-computer interaction (HCI) related fields. She spent the past six years in Toronto exploring a wide range of digital media topics and developing interactive experiences, including Unity-based VR/AR experiences, interactive art installations and interactive theatre productions. Working in teams, she developed VR galleries, an artificial life virtual environment in mixed reality and VR games using Leap Motion. She also collaboratively developed an IoT smart gardening system which won 3rd place at the Intel Roadshow Toronto 2015.

She developped her programming skills through her undergraduate program, and gained UI/UX design knowledge and team-work skills while working at IBM Canada as a designer. She designed the functionalities and user flow for a multi-platform data visualization application based on client needs and visualized them into user interface mock-ups for development. She then worked as a research assistant at the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University to design and develop a tangible AR data visualization system.

Her goal is to keep exploring creative HCI experience through bringing more human engagement to interactive experiences such as AR and VR. At CDM, she is looking for opportunities of learning more about other disciplines and building up her UX design skills.
